Movement’s Mason & Bennett are the duo behind Paper Plane Project (originally from Perth), the deliciously soulful cats whose album ‘Pacific Connection’ was released in early 2011 and featured collaborations with Aloe Blacc and Rashaan Ahmad, amongst others.
In their Movement guise, they play all matter of deep soulful beats, leaning on the likes of Detroit soul men J Dilla and Waajeed for dusty drums and British twisted disco heads Royalty for a mid tempo bump. But they play everything in between!
Don’t expect much on ‘Pacific Connection’ to get a run, but do check the album out on a Sunday afternoon! For more, check em out here
